いろいろ問題にもなりましたが、なんだかんだで大きく貢献したってことでしょう。確かにYouTubeの成功を受け、Webにおける動画配信はぐっと普及した感じです。著作権に関する考え方も、だいぶ変わってきましたね。
ただ、日本ではJASRACが頑張っているので難しいかもしれません ＾＾；
